Thunderstomp - Phase 2

I started this blog 2 months ago, more or less on a whim. I thought it would be fun and provide me with an outlet for all my Warhammer-related thoughts and ideas. Originally I planned on writing stuff whenever the mood struck me (which was at least every other day) about whatever I thought was fun to discuss. Basically trusting in my gamer's enthusiasm to see me through!

Recently though I felt I needed a bit more structure in my Blog to keep it from going stale. I've been posting mostly about painting (because that's what I've been doing) but I want this blog to be about more than just that. I don't know about you, but I can only look at so many pictured of WiP miniature soldiers :p
So, after a think I have decided to divvy up my posting according to a more or less set schedule! This way you guys will know a bit about what you can expect and it will help me think of stuff to write. Good all round, I'd say!

Anyway, here's what I have in mind:

Monday: Thalenchar's Recap This will be the post to open the new week. I'll probably start with some game related stuff I've found online over the weekend and think cool enough to share. This will, as long as the season lasts at least, include some bits on the past NFL weekend. I love American Football so for those who enjoy it too I'll post some thoughts and whatnot. Unless the Eagles lose, of course. Then I'll just pretend NFL weekend never happened... ;)
The better part of this post will be on broader gaming ideas. Stuff like running a campaign, reviews of units, books or rules, fluff for armies I'm working on, and more.

Wednesday: Midweek Modelling This will be where I'll show you what I've been up to in the painting department. Usually this will be my Painting Madness Work in Progress pics or finished shots, depending on time of the month. But, knowing me, I'll have plenty of other projects to work on and show off as well. Like my Dark Eldar Succubus (remember her? Still working on her), but also things like terrain pieces I'm painting, and did I mention I just placed an order for the humble beginnings of an Vampire Counts force...? Yeah, I know...

Friday: Game Night! This will be the bit where all the previous preparation will pay off. Or not. This part will be all about Battle Reports (Thalenchar style, obviously), Tactics and Army Lists. That includes tournament recaps as well, and stuff like my Ogre Kingdoms army build post.

Right, so there you have it: phase 2 of my blog. I'll now be off to write the first installment of Thalenchar's Recap. We'll see how long it'll be as I've already spent a fair amount of time on deciding how to redo this blog :p

P.S. While I mentioned specific weekdays, I completely reserve the right to either hasten or delay a particular post as I see fit!
